Rugande Gabriel’s Funeral

“A great soul serves everyone all the time. A great soul never dies. It brings us together again and again.” It was 1942 when my Father Gabriel, the Angel as he called himself, was born in a tiny East African Country called Burundi. From then he went thru all kind of difficulties you can think of. From losing his parents at a very young age, growing orphan to living in civil wars that led him to exile in Congo, Rwanda, Tanzania. Lived as a refugee since 1972. He came to the US in 2008 at 65 yrs old strong as 30 yrs old. He battled cancer in 2010 and he beat it, but as the time goes other sicknesses developed bit by bit till his final passing day September 23, 2018. My Father was a hard working man, He was a loving husband, a loving father, a loving Grandfather, a loving friend and a loving neighbor.  It is always difficult to say farewell to a Father, but we will always remain thankful for the guidance that he passed on to us. Our Father will always hold a special place in our lives, full of memories of how he has shaped our futures and guided us through thick and thin. Please help us bury our Father. Any contribution will be appreciated.
