Rudy's Gonna Beat Cancer

Hello everyone!
My name is Darion, and this is my boy Rudy. He's a 6 year old golden retriever. On July 29th, Rudy was diagnosed with an osteosarcoma (bone cancer) in his front right shoulder. My loved ones and I were absolutely devastated to hear this news. My boyfriend, Steven, and I took him to a cancer specialist, and we were given 3 options. 1. Absolutely nothing, where he would die within 1-2 months. 2. Amputation of the leg and chemotherapy. Or 3. To euthanize him. Since he is only 6 years old, with no other medical issues, who is still so full of life, we decided to go with the amputation and chemotherapy. So Rudy had his amputation surgery on August 3rd.

Rudy is now, what is known in the dog lover world, a "tripawd!" The day we brought Rudy home from his surgery, he was already walking on three legs! It was a bit of a struggle at first, and stairs were pretty tricky, but he quickly got the hang of walking on three paws instead of four. He's already running, and chasing after his tennis ball, and stairs are a breeze!

Rudy got his bandages off, and soon will get his staples removed. And then that's when we start chemotherapy.
The costs associated with the diagnostic tests alone cleaned out our meager savings and we are in desperate need of financial assistance to help our very special boy have the best possible life. Any sort of donation helps big or small!
