Ruck for 22

Donation protected
On June 27th 2018 I'll be joining Mission 22 and RuckFit on a 22 mile ruck along the Baltimore and Annapolis Trail to help raise awareness for veteran suicide. I'll also have three awesome friends and loved ones by side: my cousin Zachary Witmer and friends Halleigh Benner, & Katie Kline.

The cause is important to be because I have lost a loved on to suicide, my Step father. Timothy Hecker joined the North Dakota National Guard in 1991, turning the military into his career and passion with 22 years of service as active guard. He did a tour of duty with the 1-188th Air Defense Artillery Battalion (SECFOR-Afghanistan-2005). He received many awards to include, the Bronze Star Medal and Defense Meritorious Service Medal. In 2012, he was promoted to Master Sergeant. Timothy passed away on June 7th 2013, leaving a beautiful family behind as well as life lasting memories of his kindness and love.

All proceeds will be donated to Mission 22 in honor of Timothy Hecker. Mission 22 Mission 22 has three major programs. Treatment for veterans for Post Traumatic Stress, Traumatic Brain Injury and other issues they may be facing through Mission 22 Programs as well as many partner organizations, large scale public art to honor veterans and creating social impact for the issues veterans are facing today.
