For those of you who aren’t familiar with our story, our son Jasper was born on February 13, 2018. At just shy of 2 weeks old, Jasper became very sick and was diagnosed with a genetic mitochondrial disorder. He passed away on March 9, 2018, just shy of one month old. He was a beautiful baby boy, who was loved so much by so many.

One of the things that was so helpful during our stay at the Arkansas Children’s Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), besides the prayers, visits, texts, and calls, was a roll of quarters given to us. Such a simple gesture that meant so much. We were able to eat quick snacks from the vending machine without being too far away from our sweet boy. It helped lift the worry of being too far from his hospital room.

Now, we want to give back in memory of our strong, brave, beautiful son. We are asking for donations of spare change to be rolled into $10 quarter rolls. We plan on giving those quarter rolls to ACH NICU to be dispersed to other families whose children are hospitalized. That is one less burden for the families to think about; the families can focus on their precious babies and not where their next snack or meal will come from.

All of the proceeds donated will be given to ACH NICU. Last year we were able to help over 500 families with our donations! Thank you so much for giving and helping us pay it forward in Jasper’s memory.
