Ruby-Jo our shining star

Ruby-Jo is a 4 year old little girl diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. Ruby was diagnosed at the age of 2 and went through months of chemo but just 2 months from the end of her treatment she relapsed.

Ruby was admitted back into Birmingham children’s to start her next lot of chemo. She has spent the last 8 months in Hospital and this is where her and her family touched our hearts. I’m so honoured to call her my Goddaughter and Arnie is so proud to call her his best friend.

She is the most beautiful, caring, clever but sassy little girl I’ve ever met. Whoever meets her falls in love with her!

Unfortunately on Tuesday her family were given the heartbreaking news that Ruby is now terminal. There is nothing else that the NHS can do for her except keep her comfortable over the next few months.

We want Ruby to enjoy every second she has left with us and do whatever she chooses to do but also take away the worries her family may have about money in this tragic situation.

I ask all of you to spare whatever you can to put a smile on this little girls face and make life as easy as possible for her family. Thank you all for you support
