Ruby's Recovery

Ruby is a 23 year old student at the Ila Faye Miller School of Nursing at Incarnate Word University. She was set to graduate in December of 2017 with her bachelors degree in nursing. However, in early August of 2017 she contracted viral meningitis. This caused swelling in her brain resulting in intense headaches, vomiting, seizures and confusion. Ruby is set to spend another 4-6 weeks in recovery, she will be unable to drive for at least 6 months and will have a lifetime with intense headaches and residual side effects of this infection. This fundraiser was set up to help Ruby and her family during this time. Ruby was the only working adult in her household at this time, helping to care for her two elderly parents. She was always a smiling and laughing friend and student nurse during the years we have known her! Anything is greatly apperciated during this time. Please keep her in your prayers. Thank you!
