Tragedy has struck. My sister, Ruby Ann Pauley, passed away due to an aorta rupture on Thursday December 7th at 1:23 am. Ruby's medical bills and Funeral expenses are approximately $29,000.00.
She had been in ICU for most of the Month in September due to unknown blood loss. Her blood count was down to 4, which is normally 12. They got her blood count up to 8, was discharged from ICU, but ended back in ICU the next week with low blood count again after she passed out at her son's house.
Ruby was a stubbon, fun-loving, family oriented person. She was an independent spirit, till she met the love of her life, best friend, husband Buddy Pauley.
She loved to read, learn and teach. She taught me to read by making me personalized books when I was a child. She is 8 years older than me. She was my best friend and confident. The best "big" sister (at 4 11") a girl can ask for. Ruby always went out of her way to make others feel special.
Please help us give my sister a simple, but beautiful home going.
