Ruben's Medical and Recovery Fund

Hello my name is Robert Salazar, Ruben Lopez's oldest brother. On November 10, 2017 at approximately 10:00p.m. my brother Ruben Lopez was in an accident involving a vehicle. The accident caused life threatening injuries. The main injury was trauma to the head which required emergency surgery to the skull to relieve pressure in his brain to save his life. He is currently in the intensive care unit still fighting for his life. He is in a medically induced coma and on a respirator. Ruben recently graduated from high school in June 2017 and overcame many obstacles to achieve his goals. He just turned 18 on October 20th and enrolled in college. Ruben is a big boy with an even bigger heart. If you know Ruben, you would know that he has touched many peoples lives with his genuine kindness, respect, humor, and his beautiful smile. Ruben has a passion for life and has his whole life ahead of him. We are hoping and praying for a speedy and full recovery, but at this point we are taking it day by day. We are reaching out to family, friends, and anyone who wants to help. We hope you can find it in your hearts to help with this unexpected change in his life. Ruben will have a long road to recovery.
