Recently turning 76, I just learned from x-rays/MRI that the sever right hip pain and inability to walk properly during the last 2 years is due to complete loss of cartilage (diagnosed as “…denudation of the articular cartilage of the acetabulum and femoral head) – i.e. there is no cushion between the socket and the hip bone! I have exacerbated pain nearly 24/7 and experience sleep deprivation daily due to bone-on-bone; pain on scale 1 – 10 sometimes 7, 8, 9 with every step. Human stem cell protocols appear to be the best approach to correcting this issue. This cost-effective approach is approximately $8,000. There is no insurance to offset this cost; time is off the essence.
I am looking to former class mates, ministry friends, and family for assistance in covering all or part of this cost. Exploring alternative protocols other than very costly join/hip replacement which can exceed $30 to $40 thousand dollars according to Blue Cross Blue Shield, with invasive surgery and placement of metal in the body, I have recently had two visits to NSI (National Stem Cell Institute – a leader nationwide in stem cell therapy) in Florida and have been presented a program costing a fraction of the typical procedure at about $8K +. Because the protocol involves only a three-hour clinic visit with none of the side effects of the typical hip replacement protocols it makes this choice much more viable with nearly immediate results for pain mitigation and rebuilding of cartilage in the follow-on six to 9 months; there are no known contraindications because the harvested stem cells come from the fat of one’s own body which are mixed with plasma from a blood draw and injected at the problem site.
