Hi, my name is Amanda. I’m helping to raise funds for my good friend Doug, who has been through an incredibly challenging journey this year. In June, Doug lost his leg, a life-changing event that has impacted him in unimaginable ways. Despite the hardship, multiple surgeries, and intense pain, Doug has remained positive and determined to reclaim his mobility and independence.

Doug needs our help raising funds to acquire a microprocessor knee and prosthetic leg. This will give him the freedom to walk again and greatly improve his quality of life. These advanced prosthetics are essential to restoring a sense of normalcy, but they come at a significant cost—well beyond what insurance can cover.

With this new leg, he’ll regain the ability to do the things he loves and, more importantly, live without constant fear of falling or injury.
