Unexpected death of my Father

Donation protected
Last Friday night, my father chose to end his longtime struggle with mental health issues. I've been left with a mix of emotions and questions. Part of me expected this to happen one day, but it didn't lessen the shock and sadness when this day finally came. My dad was a prisoner of his mind and no amount of love I tried to show him would save him from that.

I have been humbled by the outpouring of support I have received from family members and friends. I can't thank you enough for the calls and messages. The hardest times are when I am alone and I am thankful that you have given your time to me to help me take my mind off things. I would like to say I am getting better every day, but I know I'm going to face more hard times when I receive his last note to me. I will be going to Utah soon to collect his belongings. When I return I will be available to you if anyone would like to know more information or talk. Right now, I am doing my best to grieve and process.

I am embarrassed to ask for this kind of help, but with suicide, there are several unexpected costs I was not ready for. Unfortunately, my father had no life insurance for us to rely upon so the burden falls solely on my family. It is important that my father is cremated and the ashes spread on the Superstition Mountains as were his wishes. This will cost around $2,000. Additionally, his car was on lease and when it is returned we will owe more than $4000 to turn it back in. My Mother, Brother and I are so appreciative of any amount you could offer in support during this time.
