Help Restaurant Rescue Feed Neighbors in Need

Restaurant Rescue was formed in the fall of 2020 in response to the rigid COVID-related restrictions placed on all restaurants in Santa Clara and San Mateo counties. Our aim is to increase the TakeOut business in Palo Alto and East Palo Alto.

While doing so, we're determined to help our neighbors who've been affected by this crisis, and cannot afford meals for themselves and their families.

This GoFundMe campaign will accomplish both goals!

Here's how it works:

1) You make a donation to the campaign.

2) 95% of your funds go straight to DoorDash (the popular TakeOut and

delivery service) who creates gift certificates for us at a discount.

3) DoorDash delivers the certificates to WeHope, a local non-profit caring

for those in need.

4) WeHope immediately distributes them to local folks impacted by

today's situation, who can now purchase TakeOut meals.

5) The other 5% of your funds are used to cover Restaurant Rescue's

few but important expenses.

Our team aims to distribute at least 400 DoorDash gift certificates, valued at $30 each, to those unduly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
