Help the Huffmans

On the evening of November 12, 2022, Owen Huffman and his St. Ignatius JV Hockey team were in a horrific accident in Warsaw, Indiana. The group was on their way to a hotel after a hockey game when their bus was hit by a semi-truck, causing injuries to sixteen. Three of them sustained severe injuries including Owen, who remains in the hospital.

Owen is stable and improving daily, but his recovery will be long and include months of rehab. Thankfully, Owen is strong and determined. His family and friends are confident he will be successful in his recovery because of the continuous support, love and prayers of all who care for him.

The road to recovery for Owen and the Huffman family will be emotionally, physically and financially challenging. It is for that reason that we are asking for you to consider donating to help Owen as he recovers from this unimaginable accident.

We've known the Huffmans since our son Dino was in preschool with Owen. They graduated from 8th grade together in 2021 and went to different high schools, becoming rivals -- but only on the ice.
