Help my parents rebuild their home

My parents are Amy and Bill Kenney. They have always been there for me and anyone else that has ever needed their help. They would never create this page for themselves because they just aren’t the type to ask for help. They are, and have always been my go to. People you can depend on. The kind you want to be friends with. They always go above, and beyond to help others.

Today their home caught on fire. The house I grew up in. The home was too old to be insured, so they lost most of everything they had. True to form they are in good spirits and are doing their best to pick up the pieces. My mother is extremely ill and has many medical issues. Most days she can barely breath. My father is in his 80s and has been through bypass surgery and may be in good health now but we worry about the stress this may cause. With him being a Korean War veteran, he is resilient and handling this with the utmost of strength.

My brother and myself just don’t want to see them struggle. They will be residing with him for now until they can get back on their feet. I am in Texas and feel helpless so please help us help them. Anything that we can do to come together to let them know they aren’t alone. That everything will be ok. Every little bit helps.
