Danny Baldwin Fundraiser

Dan Baldwin is the third generation owner/operator of Baldwin’s Cycle in Dunnville Ontario.  The shop has been a Landmark in Dunnville since the mid 50’s.  Baldy as he is known by most customers and friends has been well known in the motorcycle industry for years.  He started his motorcycle racing career in motocross and eventually moved on to the road racing circuit.  He competed in races all over Canada and the USA with many memorable weekends at Shannonville Motorsport Park.  He touched the lives of a ton of people riding the Baldwin Cycle Yamaha with his infamous “pit crew”.  Baldy also sponsored numerous sports teams and several golfing events.  He founded and helped organize Baldy’s Ride for the Future with all proceeds going to the Dunnville Hospital & Healthcare Foundation raising over $80,000.00 over several years of rides!

Unfortunately, Baldy has recently been diagnosed with AML (acute myeloid leukaemia) and is in for the fight of his life!

He has started chemo and a trial drug ( Venetoclax ) which shows effective results when used in conjunction with the chemo injections.  Unfortunately this drug is not yet approved for use in Canada by OHIP or any other drug plans.   The cost is in the thousands per month!  This is where Baldy and his family, wife Raeann, children Gabriel and Emma could use our help!
