Sustainable Garden Project!

 40 days... over 40 smiles was started by my friend Esther around easter time. The idea behind it was based on lent; Esther encouraged her family, friends, and friends of friends, through facebook, to give up certain luxuries for forty days, and give the money they had saved to underpriveledged children. Introduced to her by a friend, Esther chose to partner with God's Grace Orphanage, an orphange for over 90 children.

Esther has continued her project of 40 days... over 40 smiles and her partnership with God's Grace Orphanage by providing, food, education and health needs to the children, as well as introducing members to the organization who are dedicated to becoming a part of these children's lives.

Now it's time for us to think long term and sustainable.  Providing these children with a garden will do many things.  Not only will it provide a more constant healthy food source, eventually it will provide a sustainable income for the orphanage, and of course, it will ensure plenty of learning opportunities for the children.

This is where I need your help!  We've set a fundraising goal of $999 Canadian Dollars that will help us cultivate the land and the provide the necessities for making this garden successful.

Every dollar counts, so whether you donate $5 or $100, you are helping us make a difference in the lives of over 90 children!
