Help Create Milford, Ohio’s First LGBTQ Center

Our small town of Milford, Ohio may seem perfect on the outside, but underneath there is a large problem. Homophobia is a large issue in our community, and is often swept under the rug. LGBTQ kids and adults alike often do not feel accepted by their peers, neighbors, and families. They face hatred in their everyday lives from other community members. We aim to change that.
The Milford LGBTQ Center will provide a safe space for our LGBTQ community to convene and bond. We will hold educational community events to inspire unity and love in our town. Going further, we aim to provide meals and a safe place to stay for queer youth in need until they can get back on their feet. 
We are excited to begin this project. We are applying to become a nonprofit, and these funds will help us get on our feet. Love is love.
