Jackys Tumor Surgery

we’ve had jacky since she was only a few months old. she had a rough childhood but has been happy with us for the past 9 years. she loves walks and exploring parks. she’s very friendly and gets along well with other dogs. a few months ago jacky unfortunately developed a tumor on her belly. at first it was small and didn’t seem to bother her. we went to the vet and they told us that if it doesn’t bother her, it won’t harm her. over time it has gotten bigger and bigger, and now the weight of the tumor is affecting the way she walks and sleeps. she has trouble sleeping at night because the tumor hurts her belly. this tumor is also now very heavy and her little legs aren’t strong enough to carry the extra weight. she’s struggles to walk and gets tired very quickly if she gets the strength to walk. she has a limp and walks slowly, and often trips or gets too tired to keep walking. she’s not very old, and we don’t want her to spend the rest of her years tired and in discomfort. the only way to get rid of the tumor is through a surgery that costs over $1500. it’s expensive but we know it’ll help her a lot. we’re grateful for any donations towards her surgery and so is she:) we will make sure to keep everyone updated on how she’s doing.
