Baby Brayden

My grandson, baby Brayden, was admitted into hospital on Friday, 8 June 2018. From a happy, smiling baby to sick in a matter of seconds. Brayden was eating on Friday night when he had a seizure. He stopped breathing and Harry, his dad, and my daughter, his mom, Kaylee, administered CPR until the ambulance arrived. 

Brayden was admitted into Wilgeheuwel Hospital in Roodepoort where doctors fought to get him stable and breathing properly on his own. They found bleeding on his brain. As if this was not bad enough, his mom and dad are struggling new parents who can't afford a medical aid/health insurance. With help of family members a deposit was put down to admit him to private care. The bills are, however stacking up as we are not sure when Brayden will wake up and when the bleeding on his brain will subside. Further testing will also have to be done to see if any brain damage has occurred and to test what caused the seizure in the first place. Without proper funding he will have to be transferred to a state hospital where there will not be a lot of hope for baby Brayden.
