Rally for Roy

Recently one of our good friends, Roy White Jr, was diagnosed with a pancoast tumor. It is a type of lung cancer defined by its location in the lung.
He's already been in the fight versus cancer for a few weeks/months now, but we felt we wanted to find a way to help him and his family, who have been by his side daily.
Roy has always been the most kind, caring man, always the first to lend a hand to any friends in need.
So, we wanted to do the same.
He's never really been the one to reach out for help, so we decided to do it for him and his family.

Just these past few months have been the most life-changing for him.
Roy was diagnosed with pancoast tumor, he underwent surgery to remove the mass. Then started his recovery process at Health South for a few weeks. He has had numerous chemotherapy and radiation treatments. After a recent episode at home, they took him to Moffitt, where he's been now a few weeks. While there they have told him, he will never walk again, and recently while the rest of Florida was dealing with Irma, Roy was dealing with being told he now has an infection in his blood and is on medications to watch that.
This news to his friends and family is not only devastating, but eye opening to all the lives Roy has touched.
We, his friends and family, stand beside Roy in his fight against cancer to not only beat this, but to help bring awareness to those we love.
