Roy's Skin Removal Surgery

Two years ago, Roy took his first step in a new direction. He has it marked on his white board in his room, 4/15/2015 "A year from now you will wish you had started today." He began and never looked back. At 500 lbs, walking to the end of his driveway caused him to be out of breath. He kept at it though. Personal training with his bestie, Sergio, healthy eating and then 500 workouts (you read that correctly!) with campGladiator later, he has lost 260 lbs. He has a new lease on life but he's not 100% there. After being heavy his whole life and dramatically reducing his body fat in a heathly and safe way, he has over 30 lbs of loose skin. Getting this last obstacle removed will truly bring him to completion of all his hard work. His success has given birth to a new dream...being a personal trainer for campGladiator. However, he wants to hit this last goal before launching his own camps in January.

The skin removal surgery is expensive though...roughly $40,000! If you know Roy, you know he is the first to offer help, the shirt off his back and serve his friends tirelessly. I'd love for his community to show him that same love. Roy is an inspiration to us all. He has worked out with and cheered so many of us on at camp. I'm hoping we can do the same for him and show him our support on this last portion of his health journey.  Lets get him there so he can train us come January 2018!!
