Royal Children’s Hospital Foundation Fundraiser
Hello, I’m Oliver Walker-Peel, a 16-year old with cerebral palsy. Before 2015, I was told my non-life threatening disability wouldn’t need treating or could improve. After 10 procedures in one hit 5 years ago, I can say that they’ve changed my life, and I’m set for more in November this year. But it’s not just me they’ve given new leases of life to, but the treatment they’ve offered has saved many, many kids, and given them a chance to say thanks and give back. I aim to reach as much as possible after hitting the initial $2000 goal to give to them as an appreciation for their efforts and so they can improve more young lives in the process!

More information about The trustee for The Royal Children's Hospital Foundation No. 2 Trust: All funds donated to the Foundation are preserved for the purpose of medical excellence. The projects, initiatives and activities funded by donated money creates outcomes that are above and beyond the Royal Children's Hospital's (RCH) normal day-to-day activities. They ensure the highest standard of care and ongoing improvements in paediatric health care outcomes for all children. The Foundation does not fund items or projects that are considered standard operating costs; those that the state government would normally fund in a public hospital like the RCH. Description of charity’s activities and outcomes The Foundation granted funds to the Royal Children's Hospital in 4 key areas, in line with the hospital's priorities for Research, Leadership, Educations and Training , Equipment and Technology and Patient and Family centered care
