Roy Creech Memorial

Roy was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman. He was passionate about spending time with his children and grandchildren outdoors. He took the kids on many camping and fishing adventures. His most important goal with his family was to make memories.

Roy was a long time volunteer with Nevada Department of Wildlife as an Angler Educator. His passion was fishing and helping children to learn to enjoy the outdoors. In his memory, I would like to raise funds to provide supplies for the Trout in the Classroom program through Nevada Department of Wildlife.

Trout in the Classroom is a program that allows students to learn the process of hatching and releasing trout; it involves science, math and teaches responsibility. The students get the opportunity to watch the eggs hatch and release the fish into local waterways.

Roy participated in this program as a "Tank Buddy" assisting the teachers when needed. He also volunteered with the field trips that brought students to local parks to learn the skills of fishing. 

Our entire family would like thank anyone who is able to donate towards this cause; we know how much this would have meant to Roy.
