<div>Hi, my name is sarah-jayne, I live with my husband Chris, our two little boys and our beloved miniature schnauzer Roxy who has been the centre of our lives for 10 years.

<div>Sadly yesterday Roxy collapsed multiple times and remains very unwell, our very knowledgeable vet is predicting an atrioventricular heart blockage and to say we’re heartbroken as a family would be an understatement.
</div>

<div>Roxy is returning to the vets today) on her 10th birthday ) to have another review, heart scan, bloods and ecg.
</div>

<div>I have set up this go fund me page after being inundated with nothing but love and support from other schnauzer owners who suggested I do so to help towards covering the vets fees which currently stand at around £550 without a medication plan.
</div>

<div>Roxy is unfortunately not insured for this as she has a heart murmur and the insurance company just weren’t prepared to cover anything cardiac.
</div>

</div>
<div>I work as an NHS midwife and my husband is a hard working electrician but embarrassingly with the cost of living crisis, huge mortgage hikes and other costs that come with raising a family and feeding boys (!) we are just not in a financial position to pay that magnitude of bill and continued medication costs.
</div>

<div>Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for any donations, we appreciate that times are so so hard now but it would help heal our broken hearts to at least try and give Roxy a chance.
