Hurricane Harvey Relief RoxyJoe

I am Star Beaudoin from Livingston, TX and am the grandmother to Roxanne Holt who lives (lived) in Orangefield, TX with her husband and 4 children. Hurricane Harvey was unmerciful when he slammed ashore. As if that wasn't enough, he stayed around for days dumping about 40" of rain on Orangefield, TX.

If there is any way you can find it in your heart to help this family, please do so. We would be eternally grateful.

The children range in age from 11 to 2-1/2 and they are now homeless. 

It was only  (Tuesday, September 5) that Roxanne and Joe were able to get to their home by truck. Their home had 4 to 5 feet of toxic water inside. Since the house is built on piers, the water came up underneath the floors and pushed the floors up.

Mold and mildew has set in. Everything inside the home is destroyed.

Roxanne and Joe are trying to figure out how to proceed, given they are still trying to get an adjuster to the house.

The house was not in a flood plain, so mortgage holder cancelled their flood insurance. 

Your donations will be used to rebuild or replace and furnish the home that was destroyed. New insulation, drywall, floors, furnace, air conditioner, bathrooms and kitchen must be replaced.

Also furniture, bedding, kitchen tableware, cooking supplies, clothing, food, etc. must be replaced.  Starting over, so need everything. 


I will withdraw the funds into my checking account and will transfer them to my granddaughter, Roxanne and Joe for their rebuilding effort.
