Roxy's IVDD Surgery & ICU Stay

Please help us save our four-year-old sweet pup, Roxy! The picture shown is from the morning of her diagnosis.

Roxy woke up Sunday morning not able to stand or walk on her hind legs. After we rushed to the emergency vet, they told us that her hind legs were paralyzed and she would need to have time-sensitive surgery on her spine. We couldn't say goodbye to our precious young girl, so we told them to go ahead and do what needed to be done to save her. 

She had an MRI that showed multiple slipped discs in her spine and needed IVDD surgery. Following the surgery, she required a five-day ICU stay. She received hydrotherapy to help her gain her strength back. The surgery was a success, but we have a long recovery ahead. With lots of home care, medications, and rehabilitation, she will get stronger every day!

Altogether, the bills for her surgery and care total a little over $6,000. This was a very unexpected emergency situation that we weren't anticipating, but we couldn't say goodbye to our sweet girl when she was looking at us to save her.
