Roxie’s Fight With Cancer

The day before her birthday, November 27, 2019 my beautiful sister Roxie was diagnosed with Advanced (Stage four) Renal Cell Carcinoma. For those of you that know her, you know how extraordinary she is. She would give the shirt off her back to someone who didn’t ask for it. 

The oncologist has a sense of urgency to get treatments started. She will be receiving immunotherapy and target therapy with hopes that her tumor can be shrunk enough for removal. 

This is the beginning of a long, difficult and expensive fight. She does have medical insurance but there will be additional expenses and therapies that will unfortunately not be covered. 

I'm asking at this vulnerable time in her life that we rally behind her as she takes on this fight.  Every penny and every prayer counts.  A little goes along way and can help alleviate the stress of monetary issues.
