Roxana and Benny Volunteer in Haiti

Bennett and I (Roxana) will be joining Daddy/John Ryan in Haiti during his year-long research trip! Haiti holds a special place in our family's heart, and you can follow our year of adventure at our family blog (www.mcgreevyhaiti.com).  I will be volunteering my time teaching English at Happy Haitian Productions Institute in rural Haiti. Our dear Haitian friends Ernso and Elisson (Bennett's godfather) started this institute knowing English education can mean new job opportunities and a brighter future for the children there. When not teaching, we will also be searching for the best institution through which I can utilize my Masters degree and follow my longtime passion for assisting institutionalized children with life skills development. My parents instilled this passion in me through their work in Romania, where I grew up, and I am excited to contribute where I believe God is calling me. These funds will support safe transportation for Bennett and I to the Haitian countryside, food, housing, and school supplies for students. Our family is humbled and thankful for any assistance you provide, and we are looking forward to keep everyone updated through this exciting time!
