Rowing across the Atlantic 2019

Guy, John, Mike & Steve are aiming to beat the world record to be the oldest team of 4 to row across an ocean.

On December 12th we are setting off from La Gomera in the Canary Island on a 3,000 mile journey to Antigua in the Caribbean. We will be rowing round-the-clock on a relentless 2-hours on 2-hours off shift which will take about 50 days.

We are actively campaigning for 2 worthwhile charities - Open Arms Malawi and Blind Veterans UK. The boat, equipment, food for 50 days and travel costs come to over £120,000.

All donations on this site will go to support the boat costs to enable us to complete our goal of achieving the world record and raise money for our charities.

Any donation you make will help us to be one step closer to completing this huge challenge.
