<div><strong>Hello skatepark enthusiasts and supporters of small-town improvements! </strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Our Mission is to create a top-quality concrete skatepark in Covelo, Ca. It is intended to be a safe, family-orientated, all-inclusive, and free-to-use sports facility that will promote a healthy, active lifestyle and improve social cohesion in our community.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Many small communities have preceded our movement with their own skatepark creations and serve to help guide our planning and strategizing efforts.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are moving forward with excitement and momentum on the heals of incredible community support for this project! Following planning suggestions from professional organizations like skatepark.org and the founders of other skateparks, we understand that our immediate mission is to spread the word about the project, gather community input, and raise funds. Once enough funds are raised to hire a professional planner and enough support has been gathered to secure an ideal location, we can move into the project's next phase, which will involve more detailed planning and efforts to secure grants.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The Friends of the Round Valley Public Library have graciously agreed to be our temporary Fiscal sponsors while we start this project. That means we have the support of a local 501c3, a non-profit organization. We will have a safe and legal place to put our funds. Plus, we can now provide our donors with a tax-deductible receipt for their donations. This is an exciting step toward our goal.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for your support!!!
