Rotary Kenthurst - PNG - Sepik Dental Clinic

The Kenthurst Rotary Club is planning to build a dental clinic in Korogu Village at the Sepik River in north PNG. The Clinic will serve an estimated 200,000 people living along the river and inland. These people have currently no access to dental services.

Once the clinic is set up, we will organize volunteer dentists from Australia every year and also from other parts of the world through the NGO (Non Government Organization) Project Sepik, who are our contact and partner in PNG for this Project

Our Aims

1) Set up first dental clinic in PNG to server rural population

2)This clinic will serve as an example for local Provincial Government of what can be achieved with minimal funds

3)Set example for PNG Health authorities to adopt the operating model for other areas - eventually with locally trained Dentists
