Rosy’s Veterinarian Care

Donation protected

Newly named ‘Rosy’, was a stray dog in our little town of Wilmer Alabama. She had been feverishly dodging across the highway in an effort to obtain food from the gas station from her shelter of the school bus at the local church that had a door open. Due to her activity crossing the road she was endangering her lies and potentially, susceptible to cause an accident for our fellow neighbors. After nearly 3 weeks of attempting to gain her trust she came to me and has now made herself at home with Michael, Milo, and myself. We were aware of this financial obligation we would potentially take on with her having been a known stray in the area for over two months. We attempted to find her owner by speaking to the staff At area businesses and looking on social media sites and the Internet for a lost dog. Unfortunately no one was reporting or was attempting to find a dog that fit her description. We chose to keep her with us and she is now our for baby and Milo’s little sister.
once we took her to the veterinarian we found that she was infested with not only for different types of intestinal parasites, but additionally she was heartworm positive and had not yet been fixed and had had multiple litters of puppies at only one and a half years of age her self. The veterinarian guided us to a decision to get her fixed and treat her. After we began the treatment regimen she was not doing well at home and had an unsettled stomach leaning to nausea and vomiting multiple times a day. We took her back to the veterinarian this morning to check about the vomiting before her surgery tomorrow they told us she had a highly elevated white blood cell count was extremely dehydrated and had a blood infection that needed to be treated before they could move forward with any other treatment for Rosy.

Michael Milo and my cells are committed to caring for Rosie no matter the condition however we ask if anyone is in a position to donate a few dollars to help us complete our balance at TLC veterinary office in Semmes, Alabama, any donation of heart spirit or monetary value will be needed and appreciated. She is a part of our family and deserves to have a chance in this world with our help we believe we can give her what she deserves and with our support system we feel confident we can care for this condition not including what we have alreadySet aside financially for her heartworm treatment which will be about $900 again we anticipated the heartworm cost before taking her in the blood infection and hospitalization was a surprise and although it will make things more difficult she has made our life better in so many ways it was worth it to ask if anyone could help us help her
