Our beloved daughter, Sister, Tia Rosa “Chita” has been battling Hepatocellular Carcinoma Cancer for the last 2 1/2 Years and is reaching the end of her terminal illness.. Chita has been such a fighter a true champ. She has suffered so much since she was 4 years old with a rare metabolic disease that nobody was able to diagnose.
By the grace of God our mother met Dr. Stephen Cederbaum, a UCLA Medical Genetics doctor at Olive View Medical Center . With all the testing and research he helped come up with the medication/chemical that prolonged her life longer then expected . With this devastating news we received in November 2015 saying she had a tumor in the middle of the liver which was inoperable we started chemo to prolong her life once again. The pain and suffering she has endured during these treatments has been heartbreaking for our entire family especially our beloved mother because no matter the obstacles she’s overcome she’s remained this happy, brave, and strong little girl with a heart of a lion.
We as a family are asking for any help you’re able to provide Her with the proper memorial service she deserves.
