Where do i begin. On october 13, 2017 my family's world was turned upside down when my sister was hospitalized. Two months prior to this occasion Rosio was experiencing severe headaches, vomiting, and doubled vision, She had seen multiple doctors and no one was able to come up with a diagnosis. Shortly after her condition had worsened she could no longer bare the pain. upon arrival to the emergency room they quickly rushed her in for a C.A.T scan where they uncovered where the root of all her symptoms came from. A tumor embedded in a large mass on the right hemisphere of her brain was what they had found. Two days later they rushed her into surgery removing the mass on her brain. Soon after they discovered several more mass in her  kidneys and pancreas they were able to diagnose her with a rare condition called Von Hippel-Lindau disease (VHL) is a rare genetic disorder (affecting approximately 1 in 36,000 people) in which some blood vessels grow in an abnormal way and cause tumors in parts of the body that are rich in blood vessels. Rosios next surgery is scheduled for december 11 2017, because this an incurable disease she will require more down time and many more procedures. Rosio is 24 years old with 3 daughters ranging from ages 8,6,4. Francisco is rosio significant other and he has had to miss several days of work to take care of her and there three children he will have to miss many more.
