As most of you know we have been asking for prayers for my baby sister Rose. And I can’t thank each of you enough for showing the amount of love and prayers you have shown our family. It warms our heart to know there are still good people in this sick world.
On Wednesday October 7, 2020, there was a home invasion at my sisters home here in Fayetteville NC. While she was a sleep someone came into her home, brutally beat and stabbed her multiple times. She is on a ventilator and has had one surgery to fix her jaw that was broken in multiple places and her tongue muscle was detached and shoved down her esophagus. (Worst Break the surgeon has ever seen) Leaving her missing multiple teeth and her mouth wired shut with a plate in her jaw now. Both her hands are broken and she has stab wounds that now have staples in her head an stitches in her hand a well. She has a cut across her chin/ neck area that was so deep it took 4 layers of stitches to close it. My stomach turns typing this. My heart hurts so bad not being able to fix this. She will still need lots of prayers an plenty of care and more surgeries in the future when she is more stable .
Rose is a single mother of a two year old. Who works hard for everything she has. She, nor anyone deserves this while asleep in their OWN home! She still has a daughter to raise who is her inspiration to strive everyday. During this time we are asking for help by creating a fund page to help take care of Rose’s bills and comfort and any help she will need. This will be a long recovery and I know my baby sister is strong and one day will overcome this life changing event that nobody should have to endure.
