<div>The Rose Walk: Walking in Love, Hope, and Remembrance
</div>

</div>
<div>Hi everyone!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My name is Tashawna Higgins, founder and owner of Mrose Health and Fitness, located at 5 Rogers Road, York. In partnership with ETBA (Educate, Train, Believe, Achieve), we launched the Rose Walk in 2022 as a tribute to my mother, Rose, and others courageously battling breast cancer.

</div>
<div>My mother was diagnosed at just 36 years old and passed away at 44. Throughout her journey, she endured chemotherapy, a mastectomy, remission, and a second battle with cancer that spread to her hip. Despite the excruciating pain that affected her ability to walk, she never gave up. She participated in a community walking group, often walking behind everyone else, but she continued to show up and give it her all. Her strength, courage, and determination continue to inspire me today.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The Rose Walk was born from her story and my love for her.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Today, we walk to celebrate breast cancer survivors and thrivers, honour caregivers, raise awareness about prevention and early detection, and support individuals and families affected by cancer.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Funds raised help provide meaningful experiences and services, including spa days, catered meals, massage therapy, physiotherapy, and assistance with travel expenses for loved ones.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Since our first walk, the impact has continued to grow each year. More love is shared, more resources are made available, and our community continues to come together with hope and compassion.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We invite you to be part of this journey and help us make a difference. Every contribution matters!
