Roscoe the Calibully needs our love and support. We all have our stories to share about Roscoe, whether as the wildest guest at a birthday party, the chill guy laying by the pool, or the tour guide to the best restaurants in San Diego, he is a part of so many of our lives.
On Thursday August 10th Roscoe’s pawrents, Johnny and Kim, got married and Roscoe was the Ring Bearer. He sported a cute little bow tie and made sure that mom and dad had the best day ever! Throughout the evening Roscoe was showing that his back was in pain, but he was a total trooper and just kept up with the party.
On Saturday August 12th his back legs became paralyzed after a normal jump out of the car. Johnny and Kim rushed him to the emergency vet where he underwent surgery for a herniated disc, a blood clot, and a bruised spinal cord. 48 hours after surgery Roscoe still does not have the use of his back legs and is showing no signs of feeling in his toes or reflexes.
This unexpected event has caused so much sadness in what should be the best time of their lives. Roscoe’s surgery and recovery bills are unexpected and burdensome as this new little family is starting on the next chapter of their journey. Roscoe may end up as a wheelchair pup and the expenses will continue. Let’s help them out with a donation to make this unforeseen and tragic situation a little easier.
