Rosannis' Surgery

Donation protected
Greetings to all! My name is Amauris Matos and I'm a 22-year old college graduate. I am the eldest son of my mother Rosannis Matos from St. Thomas United States Virgin Islands but I currently reside in FL since finishing college.  To tell you guys a little bit about Rosannis' background and the purpose of this campaign. She came directly from the Dominican Republic as an immigrant and never got her citizenship situated after giving birth to my two little brothers and I.  We come from a lower class family where it's more so what we can do than what we want. Everyone that knows her can tell you she is the most loving, compassionate, caring, and respectful person you could ever meet. I remember when I was about 12 years old she was diagnosed with two tumors in her breast. By the grace of God she was able to get them removed with no cancerous effects and returned to work in stable condition. I was depressed as a young kid and I thought I almost lost my mother. Fast forward, 9 years later my mother suddenly fell on the ground at home on October 2019 when my smallest brother had to call an ambulance to then revive her. She was later diagnosed with a serious case of fibromyalgia and anemia along with 4  tumors located in her ovaries. This caused her to produce less white blood cells and excessive bleeding during her menstruation cycle.

Currently her doctor prescribed her with some medications but that alone will not remove her condition as it is temporary and her tumors could continue to grow. It's disheartening to me that everyday I call my mother and ask how she's doing she tells me she feels weak and awful knowing I want to help her but I can't. She has to perform a surgery once again in order to get them removed permanently from her system. The overall cost is $6,000 and we're trying our very best to reach our goal by January 2021. This situation is really urgent and if we can hit this goal even sooner that would be amazing. Due to her circumstances, she's not eligible for any type of health insurance and the surgery is costly. Since then she hasn't been able to work a job because of her condition and she's been at home making sure my smallest brother attends his virtual schooling during the pandemic. I'm really afraid because she's my everything and she's the root that keeps us nurtured. The entire family including her self have been trying to come up with the funds for this complicated surgery but we can't afford it and we NEED your help. We ask you to please make a donation of any amount in whatever way you possibly can to help Rosannis get back on her feet as soon as possible. It would mean a lot and I'm sure God would return those blessings plus more. Thank You.

Respectfully, Amauris
