Rosalva's A.K.A Shorty Rescue Fund

    Many of you know Rosalva (Shorty) Ripalda, who has worked with us since 2007, first as a Barista, and most recently as the Manager of our coffee shop.

     What you may not know is that Shorty has been coping with lupus, an auto-immune disease, which at this point has become so debilitating that she is no longer able to work, and it does not appear that she will be able to return. 

    Shorty has 3 children, two of whom are still at home.  She has insurance to help with her medical bills but is not able to pay her on-going bills such as rent, car payments, and utilities. 

     As a company, we will be donating 10% of all net sales for the next week to help Shorty with her expenses, but we know she could benefit and would appreciate any additional help you, our customers and community can offer.
