Rodriguez Familia Relief Effort

"Hello my Dear Family and Friends in the United States. My name is Joe William Rodriguez.  I am William Rodriguez’s brother.  As you know Puerto Rico has been devastated by a powerful Category 5 Hurricane.  Here in Punta Santiago, Humacao on the southeast coast where I reside with my family and where the hurricane entered the ocean entered into our homes, taking everything in its path, trees, telephone poles, debris from roofs and inundating cars.  According to the government, it is estimated that we could be 6 months to 1 year without electricity.  Our water filtration systems have failed.  Some days we have water and some days we don’t.  Some open supermarkets are only distributing 2 cases of bottled water per family.  The only way we can communicate is via AM radio and in some places in the center of town those who have cellular service with Claro get an occasional signal.  My family and my community would appreciate anything you can donate to our plight.  We are rapidly running out of supplies.  Will you please help.  Thank you and may God Bless Puerto Rico."

- Locks for safety

This is also part of the Rodriguez family's effort to help not just Joe William and our immediate relatives, but also other families in seven different communities affected by Hurricane Maria. The need is great and the conditions are dire for many in the island. Will you please help.
