WHO ARE WE?

Hello! We are the MA in Literature and Publishing (MALP) class of 2022 at NUI Galway. There are twenty of us, hailing from lots of different cities, counties, countries and cultures!

WHAT IS ROPES?

ROPES is a successful, well-known literary journal in and around Galway, showcasing emerging and established writers and artists. We publish fiction, non-fiction, poetry, memoirs, and essays, as well as visual art. The journal, now in it's 30th year, is put together by the MALP students and gives us first-hand publishing experience!

WHY SHOULD YOU DONATE?

Every year, the money raised from the sales of ROPES is donated to a charity chosen by the MALP students. This year, we have partnered with COPE Galway, who offer vital support services for individuals and families who are affected by homelessness, women and children experiencing domestic abuse, and older people in the community.

Your donation will be put towards our production costs, thus helping us to produce a high-quality journal, and enabling us to maximise the funds that will go towards COPE Galway.
