Weston and Heidi Root have been serving as missionaries, doing church planting, ministry training and pastoral ministry in Oaxaca, Mexico, since 2015.

About a year ago, a few of us who are close friends of the Root family encouraged them to consider purchasing land and building a home. We also started discussing ways we could support them in the process.

Since then, God has provided for the first step: the Roots have been able to purchase a small building lot in an ideal location, and construction plans are now underway.

For the past 10 years, they have been renting, but having a home of their own—designed to meet both their family’s needs and the needs of their ministry—would be a tremendous blessing.
