Ron was admitted on Father's Day 2017 to the Franciscan health Hosptial in Crawfordsville,Indiana. Later he was transferred to Saint Franciscan
East in Lafayette. There he spent two weeks in the hospital suffering from pneumonia and endocarditis. He showed signs of improvement and was released to go back home. He was expected to make a full recovery but on July 6 he went into cardiac arrest. He was unable to be resuscitated and went to be with the Lord. He is now pain free. His family is doing well but now faces bills in excess of$125k and growing from the unexpected illness and death. The burden of medical bills will fall to Ron's wife Vickie.
