Ronnie's heart surgery

Donation protected
As most of you know my dad, Ronnie Williams, a Memphis Police Officer of 17 years has gone under for unexpected heart surgeries twice within a year.
He's first open heart surgery was in September 2016 and it's been down hill ever since.
He started to notice chest pains along with shortness of breath. About a week went by and he went into work like usual. While at work he was walking down a flight of stairs and noticed he couldn't catch his breath. He decided it was time to get checked out. He drove himself to the hospital were they ran all the test but didn't find any medical issues with his heart. Before being discharged a nurse came in and spoke with him about his symptoms. After disscussing she asked if he minded if they ran heart catheter up his thigh with a camera attached. That's when they saw that he was missing two leaflets out of three for his valve. A few short weeks went by and he was scheduled for his first open heart surgery. Of course he wasn't ready but he was ready to be on his feet again. The doctors told him that he would feel better then ever. Well after 7 months of being off work and physical therapy he still was not feeling well. He followed up with his doctor to run some more tests. They found that his new valves were already leaking and his blood was regurgitating in his heart. His doctor basically told him that there wasn't much they could do and that he could return back to regular duty. So my dad took matters into his own hands and found a new doctor. His new doctor decided they would go in through both thighs through his groin to run a heart catheter to try and repair the leaks. Once he got in, he spent hours trying to fix the leak but unfortunately there was too much damage to repair. After discussing his options, he told him the news that if he opened his chest back open it could result in, paralysis, blood clots that can cause heart attack, stroke, lung or kidney failure.

With all the risks they've decided to send him out of town to The Mayo Clinic, in Rochester, Minnesota to try to seal and repair the leaks.
With his permission I decided to start this campaign to help with medical and travel expenses, hotel stay for my mom, air plane tickets for both of them, as well as any other expenses that might come up along the way while he is off work as he is not sure when or if he'll be able to return.
I'm asking you to consider helping this hardworking, kind hearted, wonderful man that I get to call my dad. All support will go towards the aid of travel and medical expenses. If you are reading this and are not in a position to donate, I'm asking for your prayers to watch over my dad and our family during this time of need. We are extremely grateful to you all.
