Ron C Herens Memorial Fund

This is Ron C Herens, beloved son and brother, future husband, forever best friend, passionate firefighter, and ultimate gift to his community in Marietta, Georgia. He is also known as "Hollywood" in the firefighting world, and we see why! What a beautiful human.
Ron was visiting Los Angeles with his best friends and fellow firefighters when at the age of 23, his life was taken by a local DUI driver on April 10, 2017 in Marina del Rey, California. To help keep his memory alive here at the site of the accident, the local community has commissioned an LA based street artist to build on the memorial that has been kept since the day after the accident. This artist became an integral part of the memorial from the beginning upon hearing of it being formed at the same location that he frequents w his work. He paid tribute to the Marietta Fire Dept w the gift of an initial installation and is now collaborating with another artist, preparing a special tribute to honor Ron and his legacy of love and living in service to others. We hope that this installation will impact even one person who will remember the responsibility that comes with driving, and the possible devastating consequences that can always be prevented.
How true it is, what they say about no donation ever being too small, and that every dollar is so very much appreciated. It seems to be why this site is so great; many people get to feel the good in helping a cause, for just a few dollars. Thank you for considering =)
