<div>Mijn naam is Luke Langeveld, ik ben 27 jaar oud en op 10 augustus wil ik voor stichting Man o Man 50 km gaan hardlopen in het Vondelpark in Amsterdam met als doel zoveel mogelijk geld op te halen voor deze stichting.

<div>Tijdens de voorbereiding van de marathon van Rotterdam merkte ik dat hardlopen voor mij een fijne manier was om alles even los te laten, al helemaal toen ik dezelfde rondjes begon te lopen.

<div>Nadat een van mijn beste vrienden Clé besloten had om zijn marathon te gebruiken om geld op te halen voor KWF gebruikte ik deze inspiratie voor iets wat dichter bij mij staat en vaak onderbelicht word. Om mij heen zie ik namelijk veel vrienden/vriendinnen die het mentaal zwaar hebben, met name bij de mannen merkte ik dat dit nogal een taboe was. Na enige research kwam ik in contact met Nathan Vos, oprichter van stichting Man o Man. Nathan zet zich in voor awareness rondom mentale gezondheid bij (jonge)mannen door verschillende manieren van voorlichting, het ondersteunen van wetenschappelijk onderzoek bij onder andere 113 en door zelf te onderzoeken hoe mannen weerbaarder worden en dit te publiceren in artikelen en boeken.

<div>Nathan probeert nu een onderzoek naar jongvolwassenen van de grond te krijgen, hier wil ik middels deze loop graag bij ondersteunen.
