Ronan's Recovery

Our pup, Ronan, has had a scary last few days. On 3/1 we noticed a change in his behavior, a loss of appetite, and lethargy. On 3/2, he took a decline and we took him to the ER. This led to tests, x-rays, and zero answers. They sent us home after x-rays showed nothing life threating and they gave him some fluids and an injection for nausea. They following morning, he perked up a bit and we thought it had passed. Todd and I left Ronan with friends for a night and returned on Sunday. When we got him home, he took an even deeper dive and was barely conscious, blood in his stool, had swelling around his eyes and rashes on his skin. We rushed him to the ER again and they requested to keep him overnight to monitor him. He has received an ultrasound, a slew of medications, two days of 24/7 care. Because we still don’t have answers, we already are planning to have to pay more for medications (3x the amount of a average size dog), tests, etc... 

FULL DISCLOURE: Ronan is insured with Nationwide. We couldn’t have made it this last 7 months without it. This lemon pup has been to the vet so many times (a surgery on his shoulder, a parasite he got at the dog park, and other issues with his booty), that we have neared our $7500 max yearly policy coverage (which ends 8/1/18). Most dogs wouldnt even come close to the $7500, but like I said, Ronan has had some bad luck when it comes to illness and injury. We are seeking a bit of financial support as we navigate how to tend to his needs as best we can. We want to be completly transparent, so below are the itemized statements that we have had to put on credit cards. 

We are eternally greatful for the love and support we have already recieved, but everyone needs a little financial help sometimes, too.
