Ron Poster- Triple Bypass Recovery

My name is Rich DiMare and my good friend, Ron Poster, needs our help.
Working for Kiss 108 and being a professional singer for over a decade in Boston, I’ve had the pleasure of meeting and working with many talented musicians. One who has always stood out as a class act is Ron Poster.
Everything changed for Ron last month when an angiogram revealed severe blockages in the arteries that supply Ron’s heart with oxygenated blood. The doctors informed Ron that he was at high risk for a cardiac event and that he would need open heart surgery for a triple bypass as soon as possible.
On October 3rd, cardiac surgeons took blood vessels from another area of the body to repair the damaged arteries. The surgery was successful and Ron is now recovering at his home in Four Point Channel after spending two full weeks at Boston Medical Center.
Boston comes together. We rally behind our own. You can see that through the history of Boston sports. Since 2001, Ron has worked as the official organist for the TD Garden.
Ron is also closely tied to the live music scene in Boston. As a recurring musician at the MFA, Lucky’s Lounge, and other music hot spots in the City, Ron is a stand out in the local music community.
Let’s rally together! As Ron recovers, he has been unable to work. By giving, we reduce the burden of the high medical and rehabilitation expenses he has incurred as a result of the surgery.
For selfish reasons, I want Ron to be able to focus on getting better so he's back behind the keys ASAP, playing the Sinatra songs we both love.
