Ron Muccilli

On February 23, 2018 Ron went to the doctor because he was having severe back pain. They did an MRI and determined that Ron had cancer in many areas, including a tumor on his spine which is what was causing the back pain. Since then, Ron has under gone a second MRI, a PET scan and a liver biopsy. We met with his oncologist last week and were told that he has a rare form of cancer known as neuroendocrine cancer. The cancer has metastasized and is in his liver, lymph nodes, kidneys and bones. He has been referred to the Mayo clinic in Rochester and still needs to undergo another MRI and a bone biopsy before he can begin treatment. Due to the painful tumor on his spine, Ron is no longer able to work and I have been unable to work much due to the numerous appointments Ron has had. We are doing our best to stay positive as we sit in wait for the next doctor appointment at the Mayo in a couple weeks. Our family would appreciate any amount you can donate at this time to help out with medical bills and everyday expenses. A benefit is also being planned for May. We will update information on Ron’s condition and about the benefit on this site as we know more.
