Ron Darmofal Memorial Fund

Saturday, December 9th was a very sad day for my cousins, William and Jacob Darmofal.  Heaven’s gates opened and embraced their dad, Ron Darmofal.  Ron passed away very unexpectedly while working and left my cousins heartbroken.  They are two very caring guys and I’d like to help bring comfort to them and their mom, Stacey Darmofal.

I need your help, love and support as the family tries to understand and cope with the loss of a husband, dad, son, uncle, nephew, and cousin as they lay him to rest.  Ron had a heart condition and because of that, it was impossible to get life insurance and now his wife and kids are left to survive financially on their own. Stacey is one of the hardest working mothers I know.  She has worked at the same company for over 20 years making a fair wage to help support her family.  Stacey has always given to others in need and during this difficult time, would be ever so grateful for a little help to lighten her financial worries.        

For all that knew Ron, they knew he was and will always be the HEART of his family, literally, as Ron was a heart transplant recipient in 2011 and my cousin Jake wears his heart birthday proudly as a remembrance of his dad’s transplant. 

Ron leaves behind his wife Stacey, his two boys (my cousins) Jacob and William.  While Ron’s memory will continue on through his own organ donation, as well as memories by all of his family and friends, it is still very difficult to imagine what life will be without him today and during this holiday season. 

I hope you can find it in your hearts to donate any amount to help me bring a little comfort and peace to my cousin’s family during this sad time.  Your prayers are welcomed and appreciated.

Service will be held Thursday, December 14th at St. Mary Queen of Creation, 50931 Maria Street, New Baltimore, MI 48047 at 10 am.
